Job summary

Ashurst Perkins Coie US LLP is seeking an Information Governance Analyst to support the firm’s information governance program. You will work with attorneys, business teams, and leadership to implement policies, manage records, and drive compliance and efficiency across the organization.

The role offers exposure to data lifecycle initiatives, collaboration across departments, and opportunities to lead projects that reduce risk while modernizing information management practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Management, or related field.
• Five+ years of experience in information governance or data management.
• Knowledge of information governance, records lifecycle, and best practices.
• Experience with records management systems and Microsoft 365.
• Ability to analyze data and manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Discretion and confidentiality in handling information.
• Certifications such as IGP or CRM are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support information governance strategy by implementing policies and standards.
• Partner with attorneys and business teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Manage the lifecycle of physical and electronic records (retention, holds, disposition).
• Lead cross-functional projects to improve information management and efficiency.
• Analyze data and reporting to identify opportunities for process improvements and risk mitigation.
• Collaborate across the firm to strengthen information governance practices.
• Provide guidance to Information Governance Specialists and stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement of compliance and data management.
