S&C Electric Company is seeking a Manager-Indirect Purchasing to partner with Finance, Engineering, Operations, and other functions to align procurement with corporate goals. The role leads procurement transformation, strategic supplier relationships, and performance metrics across indirect spend.

On-site hours are 8:00 am–5:00 pm, Monday–Friday. The company emphasizes growth, continuous improvement, and collaboration with leadership to achieve cost efficiency and risk management.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain with leadership responsibilities.
• 2-3 years in leadership/managerial roles.
• Proven expertise in contract negotiation and supplier relationship management.
• Track record of cost reductions, process improvements, and supplier performance gains.
• Experience with ERP systems (Oracle) and spend analytics tools.
• Strong financial acumen for costs, budgets, and business cases.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Manufacturing industry experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Management for indirect materials/services.
• Develop category strategies and sourcing plans.
• Identify, qualify, and manage strategic suppliers for quality, delivery, cost objectives.
• Conduct market analysis and supplier benchmarking for savings and improvements.
• Build supplier partnerships and drive innovation with Global Sourcing.
• Lead contract negotiations and manage lifecycle, renewals, and compliance.
• Mitigate risks with Legal, Finance, and stakeholders; ensure favorable terms.
• Establish procurement standards and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Drive value through TCO, cost savings, and process improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on strategic initiatives.
