Job summary

Durham County Government is seeking a Program Manager for the Family & Children’s Medicaid Team in the Medicaid Division. The role provides administrative and technical leadership, overseeing income maintenance programs and supervising unit supervisors in day-to-day operations.

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of income maintenance, strong leadership and planning abilities, and must obtain NC FAST certification within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Four years of experience in income maintenance programs with supervisory experience.
• Bachelor's degree in human services, business or public administration preferred.
• Willingness to obtain NC FAST certification within 90 days of hire.
• Strong leadership and administrative abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and technical leadership for the Medicaid Team.
• Oversee income maintenance programs and supervise unit supervisors.
• Develop strategic plans to address future community needs.
• Implement procedural and technological improvements to service delivery.
• Represent programs in departmental and community meetings.
