Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Huntsville, AL seeks a Lead, Program Scheduler to manage the Integrated Master Schedule for the MAC program. You will interface with finance, engineering, manufacturing and quality to ensure schedules align with budgets and objectives.

This role leads end-to-end scheduling and communicates status to internal and external customers, with travel up to 25% under a 9/80 work schedule. Ideal candidates will have IMS experience, EVM knowledge, DoD EVMS guidelines, MS Project

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant program scheduler experience; or a Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related program scheduler experience; or in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 13 years of prior related program scheduler experience.
• Experience creating and/or maintaining an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and any Supporting Schedules on assigned projects/programs.
• Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) including Cost or Schedule Integration.
• Experience in maintaining schedules across product life cycle, including critical path analysis and schedule risk analysis.
• Experience in MS Project and Milestones Professional.
• Knowledge of engineering processes, principles, and practices; knowledge of risk management concepts and risk analysis related to master schedules.
• Knowledge of DoD EVMS Guidelines (ANSI-748C), Integrated Product and Process Development (IPPD), and Integrated Program Management Report (IPMR).
• Team building skills and influencing and relationship management skills.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end life cycle of planning and schedule management.
• Serve as the point of contact for internal and external customer communication and status.
• Oversight of performance to program budgets and communicating necessary adjustments to responsible Cost Account Managers.
• Develop integrated master schedules using SOW and WBS.
• Performs time-phased analyses, critical path verification and schedule risk assessments to assure the capability of the program to meet their commitments.
• Resolve schedule conflicts, develop and implement work-around strategies and tactical alternatives.
• Perform regular analysis of program schedules to evaluate program and enterprise-wide resource needs through the integration of all program schedules.
• Travel up to 25%.
