Job summary

Ericsson seeks an experienced ICT Program Director in Bellevue, WA to lead large, customer-facing, multi-domain technology programs for a major Tier-1 operator. The role is in-office, full-time with up to 10% travel, based in Bellevue, Washington.

You will drive program planning, governance, and execution across core, cloud, automation, and AI domains, partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver on strategic objectives and value creation for the customer.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent experience
• Proven experience leading customer-facing program management in Telecom/Professional Services
• Deep knowledge of 5G, 5GC, IMS Core, and cloud-native architectures
• Strong understanding of autonomous networks and orchestration per TM Forum AN model
• Hands-on knowledge of AI/ML for network automation and GenAI/Agentic AI implementations
• Financial and commercial acumen including program/project finance and business modeling
• Ability to collaborate, own outcomes, and make data-driven decisions
• Strong stakeholder management and communication across organizational levels
• Track record delivering for Tier-1 operators with improved SLAs and on-time delivery
• Value creation and consultative selling capabilities

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage large, complex, multi-domain technology programs aligned with customer objectives
• Define and drive the total customer solution with cross-functional teams
• Own program planning, governance, and execution across scope
• Manage customer relationship, contract strategy, and risk management
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and business case requirements
• Identify opportunities to expand services and add value
• Reduce issues through automation and AI-driven solutions
• Provide direction in fast-paced environments across core, cloud, automation, and AI domains
