Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina seeks a Strategic Human Resources Business Partner to align people strategies with organizational priorities. You will partner with leaders on talent acquisition, development, engagement, equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI), and drive a high-performing culture.

The role requires 7+ years HR management experience, strong advisory skills, and expertise in HR policy, compliance, and data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Psychology, or relevant field.
7+ years of progressive human resources management experience.
4+ years partnering with leaders at multiple levels to develop and execute HR strategies.
4+ years advising and coaching managers on employee relations, performance management, organizational development, talent management, and change management.
4+ years experience with talent acquisition, employee development, compensation, benefits, and HR compliance.
2+ years experience using HR data, metrics, and reporting to inform decisions.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with organizational priorities and business needs.
Partner with leaders to design organizational goals, structures, and accountability.
Coach leaders on organizational design, change management, and performance management.
Lead talent acquisition, onboarding, and recruitment strategies.
Advise on talent development, competency models, and learning solutions.
Support compensation, benefits, leaves, and HR compliance.
