Job summary

Georgia-Pacific is seeking a Manager - HR Business Partner to lead the HR team at the Corrigan, TX plywood facility. The role partners with senior leaders to drive organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, and talent management, aligning HR strategies with business goals.

You will oversee workforce planning, talent acquisition, succession planning, and HR metrics, while coaching managers on development and compliance in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of progressive HR experience, including strategic HR Business Partner or leadership roles.
• Experience in a complex, matrixed environment.
• Proficiency with MS Office and HRIS; strong data analytics capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Build trust with leaders and employees; align workforce to company values and close talent gaps.
• Partner with senior leadership to understand business strategy and drive HR innovation.
• Develop and grow the HR team and HR processes (planning, talent acquisition, succession planning).
• Provide data-driven HR insights and oversee HR metrics with COEs for integrated solutions.
• Coach managers on development, retention, and career growth; advise on employee relations and compliance.
• Lead investigations and mitigate HR compliance risks.
• Drive culture, change management, DEI, and employee engagement initiatives.
