Job summary

Georgia-Pacific is seeking an HR Business Partner to work onsite at our Albany, GA facility. You will partner with managers and employees to advance HR processes and drive business results, focusing on Principle-Based Management and continuous improvement.

You will build trusted relationships with operations, coach supervisors, analyze data for leadership, and lead labor-related improvement initiatives while ensuring adherence to our Core Values and Code of Conduct.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years in an HRBP/HR Generalist/HR Manager role.
• Experience partnering with plant leadership to drive initiatives.
• Experience developing and partnering with front line supervisors.
• Experience analyzing, interpreting, and presenting data to leaders.
• Knowledge of employment laws and practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead in advancing Principle Based Management and HR processes.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with operations leaders and employees.
• Identify talent gaps and coach supervisors on gap-closure plans.
• Use business acumen to understand key drivers of performance and deliver results.
• Develop HR strategies and lead labor improvement initiatives.
• Challenge behaviors that conflict with Core Values and Code of Conduct.
• Provide guidance on change management and employee development.
• Drive innovation in HR processes and functions.
• Anticipate needs and issues before they arise.
