Georgia-Pacific is seeking an Operations Manager at the Corrigan, TX plywood facility to drive safety, operational excellence, and team development. You will lead a dynamic team and implement PBM® principles to align with the company’s commitment to continuous improvement and reliability.

You will oversee budgeting, forecasting, and performance reviews, using data to steer decisions and improve productivity.

Qualifications

5+ years supervisor manufacturing leadership experience in plywood/wood products or heavy industrial environments.
Ability to cultivate a culture of safety, ownership, continuous improvement and employee development while leading salaried and hourly teams.
Experience managing production operations and driving improvements in safety, quality, productivity, reliability, and cost.
Experience using data and KPIs to make business decisions including budgeting and forecasting.

Responsibilities

Champion a culture of injury-free, incident-free operations by modeling PBM® principles.
Optimize production processes using the MPO Process System for efficiency, reliability, and value creation.
Develop and mentor a high-performing operations team with regular performance reviews and change management.
Oversee facility financials including budgeting, forecasting, and strategic reviews.
Use Disciplined Operations, RCA and maintenance planning to identify opportunities and implement solutions.
Build a culture of ownership by recognizing contributions and ensuring accountability.
