Job summary

Fike Corporation is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to act as a strategic partner to assigned leaders at our Blue Springs, MO headquarters. You will coach managers, handle employee relations, and drive workforce planning in support of business goals.

The role requires 3–5+ years of HR experience with strong investigations and advisory skills, plus knowledge of HR laws. A SHRM-CP/PHR is a plus; Comp and SIP support are included in compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years in progressive HR with focus on employee relations, investigations, and coaching.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws and HR best practices.
• Experience partnering with managers and supporting talent processes.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary HR point of contact for assigned leaders, conducting routine touchpoints to assess team health and align talent strategies.
• Coach line managers on communication, conflict resolution, performance management, and change leadership.
• Manage day-to-day employee inquiries and conduct objective investigations into workplace concerns and policy interpretations.
• Facilitate annual and semi-annual performance review cycles and guide managers on feedback and SMART goals.
• Coordinate engagement surveys, analyze results, and help leaders implement retention strategies.
• Partner with hiring managers to define staffing needs, refine job descriptions, participate in interview panels, and support new hire orientation.
• Validate business cases for promotions and salary adjustments, support SIP documentation.
• Identify skills gaps and support delivery of targeted soft-skills and manager development workshops.
• Ensure compliance with policies and applicable employment laws, including regulatory standards.
