Job summary

Tundra Technical Solutions is seeking a strategic HRBP and Workforce Relations expert to support one of our key client engagements. This role serves as a trusted advisor to internal teams and client stakeholders, ensuring effective management of contingent workforce employee relations, compliance, and related processes.

The ideal candidate brings strong HR advisory capabilities, labor law knowledge, and experience supporting contingent or project-based work in fast-paced, client-facing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3-4 years progressive HR experience in HRBP and/or Employee Relations.
• Experience supporting contingent workforce or staffing/project environments.
• Strong knowledge of employment law, wage and hour regulations, and ER best practices.
• Experience managing complex ER escalations and investigations.
• Ability to influence and partner with stakeholders in a matrixed, client-facing environment.
• SPHR or SHRM-CP designation is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary HR partner to engagement teams supporting contingent workforce populations.
• Provide proactive guidance on employee relations matters, performance concerns, conduct issues, and workplace escalations.
• Partner with client stakeholders and internal leadership to ensure consistent, compliant, and fair workforce practices.
• Act as a thought partner to drive workforce optimization strategies that align with business goals.
• Manage complex escalations and sensitive workforce situations from intake through resolution.
• Coach engagement teams on ER best practices and documentation; deliver enablement sessions.
