Job summary

Firstrust Bank is seeking an HR Business Partner to advise business groups and translate strategy into people programs. This hybrid role supports Hatch Bank and Apex Commercial Capital, with base locations in Conshohocken or Horsham, PA.

You will drive talent management, employee relations, performance management, and engagement, ensuring compliant, data-informed HR solutions and effective execution across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field.
• SHRM Certification (SPHR/PHR/SHRM-SCP) preferred.
• 5–7 years HR Business Partner experience with experience in talent acquisition, development, employee relations, and training.
• Experience in Financial Services / Banking industry preferred.
• Excellent knowledge of employment laws (ERISA, COBRA, ADA, and related laws).

Responsibilities

• Translate business strategy into an aligned people strategy for subsidiaries, advising on talent management and organizational design.
• Provide credible guidance on employee relations with investigations and practical resolutions.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition to drive recruitment for assigned client groups.
• Support HR initiatives and act as a change agent with people management practices.
• Coordinate training solutions to improve capability and consistency (manager essentials, performance, onboarding).
• Lead performance management practices and ensure fair, timely documentation and decisions.
• Strengthen engagement and retention by analyzing trends and implementing action plans.
• Ensure consistent application of HR policies and maintain records with HRIS integration.
• Collaborate with HR leadership to deliver programs and talent management roadmaps.
• Maintain knowledge of legal requirements to reduce risk and ensure compliance.
• Carry out transformation related to people technology and HR products/services.
• Deliver management and professional development workshops.
• Maintain relationships with employees at all levels and participate in bank activities.
• Benchmark internal and external environments to improve HR initiatives.
