Job summary

City of Hialeah Municipal Government is seeking a professional HR Training and Development Partner to lead staff and management development programs across the city. This role focuses on customer service, management development, and organizational improvement efforts.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, or related field and 2–4 years of experience in developing or facilitating training programs, with the incumbent reporting to the Chief Human Resources Officer.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Personnel Management, Business Administration, Public Administration, or related field.
• 2–4 years of professional experience in developing and/or facilitating training programs.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Prepares training manuals and conducts trainings for onboarding, customer service, public records, sexual harassment, ethics, and other trainings.
• Consults with management to determine training needs and priorities.
• Specifies additional training needs within departments.
• Advises on methods and programs to meet training objectives.
• Assists in planning new training courses or revising existing courses.
• Compiles materials including outlines, plans, and aids.
• Researches and recommends training materials for programs.
• Advises on career development opportunities and available courses.
• Discusses evaluation findings with supervisor and management for improvements.
• Keeps current on training and organizational development trends.
• Performs other related work as required.
