Job summary

Quality Air Heating & Cooling, Inc. is seeking a Human Resources & Payroll Director to provide strategic and operational leadership across HR and payroll functions.

You will develop people strategies, manage talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compensation, benefits, payroll administration, and HR systems while ensuring legal compliance. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Leadership, or related field required.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum 8–10 years of progressive Human Resources experience with increasing leadership responsibilities.
• Experience managing payroll administration and compliance.
• Experience supporting HRIS and business systems.

Responsibilities

• Partner with executive leadership to develop and execute HR strategies aligned with organizational goals.
• Lead workforce planning, succession planning, and organizational development initiatives.
• Oversee recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and retention strategies for all positions.
• Provide guidance and coaching to managers regarding employee relations issues.
• Direct and oversee all payroll processing activities to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Lead compensation planning, market benchmarking, and salary administration.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
• Serve as the primary liaison between HR, payroll, and IT providers.
