Job summary

Earthjustice, a national environmental law organization, seeks a Manager for HR Partnerships to steer strategy and operations, partnering with senior leaders to drive workforce planning and talent development. This role supervises HR professionals and champions Earthjustice’s culture and values.

The position is full-time with a flexible hybrid/work-from-home option, preference for near a office (Washington, DC) but open to remote within the contiguous United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive HR experience.
• Minimum of 2 years supervising an HR team.
• Active SHRM-SCP or SPHR strongly preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of employee relations, employment law, investigations, organizational development, workforce planning, and talent management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the HR Partnership function and set strategic direction.
• Provide employee relations guidance grounded in employment laws and compliance standards.
• Partner with the Office of General Counsel to advance investigations standards and documentation.
• Advise senior leaders on workforce planning, talent strategy, and organizational health.
• Lead culture and change initiatives, developing dashboards and workforce insights.
