Responsibilities

• Counsels department managers on employee and labor policies, procedures, and practices; researches and resolves grievances and compliance issues.
• Manages recruitment cycle for a full range of staff or academic positions.
• Advises Lecturer contract hiring, changes to FTE, and benefits/pay implications.
• Counsels employees on sensitive work-related problems.
• Conducts termination interviews and provides feedback to administration.
• Collaborates with client groups on reorganizations and staffing objectives.
• Advises on job descriptions, disability, leaves of absence, and performance management.
• Prioritizes work and conducts HR trends analyses with recommendations.
• Promotes inclusivity within Regional Services.
