Job summary

Wabtec is seeking an HR Manager to partner with leaders across corporate functions, delivering HR solutions and driving talent, engagement, and organizational effectiveness. You will support workforce planning, performance management, and compliance while serving as a trusted advisor to client groups.

Based at our HQ Pittsburgh site, you will collaborate with Centers of Excellence and HR teammates to provide consistent, employee-centered services and drive business performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Admin, or related field.
• Progressive HR Generalist / HRBP experience.
• Experience partnering with managers on employee relations.
• Knowledge of employment laws, performance, leave, compliance.
• Strong business partnership and ability to influence.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as trusted HR partner to leaders and staff on ER matters.
• Address performance issues, complaints, conflict resolution.
• Conduct workplace investigations and recommend actions.
• Foster inclusive, high-performing work environment.
• Support workforce planning and talent initiatives.
• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition on recruiting strategies.
• Manage change and organizational effectiveness.
