Job summary

Tyler Technologies in Plano, TX is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to deliver a full range of human resources services in partnership with leadership. You will consult across HR to align people initiatives with business objectives and drive value for both leaders and team members.

You will partner with divisional leaders to shape talent strategies, manage employee relations, and guide change management while upholding compliance with applicable laws and Tyler's values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years human resources experience.
• Expert knowledge of employee relations and HR principles.
• Proven track record providing business partnership to leadership.
• Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking.
• Experience using data analytics to guide business decisions.
• Expert knowledge of federal, state, and local labor laws.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to multi-task and present to Senior Leadership.
• Experience across engagement, talent acquisition, performance management, compensation & benefits, and workforce development.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leadership to identify and develop talent and engagement solutions reflecting Tyler culture.
• Partner with the business to address risk and achieve operational objectives with HR leadership.
• Facilitate leadership development, succession planning, and talent reviews.
• Support learning programs with the Talent Development team.
• Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues.
• Conduct internal investigations and coach junior staff on investigations.
• Analyze surveys and employment data to identify trends and advise leaders.
• Identify opportunities for HR process improvements and efficiencies.
• Advise on organizational structure and reorganizations.
• Plan and implement change management with divisional leadership.
• Provide guidance on compensation decisions, pay equity, and incentive design.
• Ensure compliance with policies, laws, and regulations.
• Model Tyler's Mission, Vision and Values and mentor employees.
• Assist with Workers' Comp, Immigration, Leaves of Absence, etc.
