Job summary

General Dynamics Land Systems in Lima, OH, seeks an HR Business Partner – Labor and Employee Relations to support a unionized, manufacturing environment. You will build strong relationships with business leaders and union partners, coaching on HR policies and labor relations matters.

The role drives talent acquisition and pipeline development, promotes diversity and inclusion, and conducts salary analysis for hires and internal movements.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated proficiency in communication (written and verbal).
• Ability to work collaboratively with unionized workforce and management teams.
• Experience supporting labor relations and contract administration.

Responsibilities

• Establish strong relationships with internal stakeholders and union partners.
• Coach leaders on HR policies, processes, and labor relations issues.
• Develop talent pipelines including military, technical schools, interns/co-ops.
• Promote diversity and inclusion in talent attraction and retention.
• Conduct salary analysis for hires, merit, promotions, and equity adjustments.
• Partner with HR Solution Centers to assess total rewards impact.
• Ensure policy interpretation and legal compliance across the organization.
• Lead resolution of complex employee concerns and disciplinary actions.
• Support local UAW agreement administration, negotiations and grievances.
