Job summary

Weir ESCO in Bucyrus, Ohio seeks an HR Manager to lead strategic HR across Bucyrus, Covington (KY) and Portland (OR). This hybrid role blends on-site leadership with remote collaboration to shape workforce strategy and drive organizational capability.

You will steer talent planning, succession, employee relations, and performance management while leveraging data to guide decisions. Occasional travel and a strong safety culture are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Proven HR experience in manufacturing or heavy industrial environments.
• Ability to operate independently across multiple sites in a matrixed organization.
• Experience with Centers of Excellence and shared services is a plus.
• Strong judgment, credibility, and employee relations skills.

Responsibilities

• Strategic HR leadership across Bucyrus, Covington, and Portland sites.
• Lead talent planning, succession, people planning, and leadership development initiatives.
• Manage employee relations, investigations, and performance management.
• Use people data to identify risks, trends, and opportunities and address workforce challenges.
• Influence and coach site leadership to make informed HR decisions in a matrixed environment.
• Travel primarily to Bucyrus with occasional visits to Covington and Portland (about once or twice per year).
• Demonstrate commitment to safety and zero-harm culture.
