Job summary

Davis H. Elliot Company, Inc. is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to serve as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees across shared services. You will support employee relations, performance management, talent development, workforce planning and organizational effectiveness initiatives.

You will collaborate with leaders to promote engagement, retention and a positive employee experience while ensuring policy compliance and effective HR processes across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience.
• Five+ years progressive HR experience in a business-facing role.
• Strong knowledge of employee relations, performance management, talent acquisition and employment laws.
• Ability to coach leaders, manage difficult conversations and maintain confidentiality.
• Strong communication and data interpretation skills.
• Ability to travel regionally.

Responsibilities

• Serve as trusted HR partner to leaders and employees across assigned shared services departments.
• Coach leaders on performance management, engagement, development planning, retention strategies and workplace concerns.
• Investigate employee relations matters and implement corrective actions.
• Partner with leaders to identify workforce challenges and implement practical talent solutions.
• Support planning, workforce forecasting, succession planning and development initiatives.
• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition on recruiting, interviewing and onboarding.
• Drive engagement initiatives and strengthen company culture.
• Analyze HR metrics to identify opportunities related to engagement and performance.
• Provide career development guidance and support compensation planning and performance reviews.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field
