Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics in the USA seeks a Senior HR Business Partner to support recruitment, employee relations, compensation, learning and development, and payroll administration. The role collaborates with management to implement HR programs, ensure policy compliance, and drive workforce strategies across the New Albany facility and surrounding regions.

Strong communication, problem solving, and business acumen are essential, as is the ability to operate in a fast-paced logistics

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, business or a related field and 3 years’ experience working in Human Resource field required or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Must be able to work in unregulated temperatures within the warehouse during the warmer and colder months can range from mild to moderate.

Responsibilities

• Provides HR solutions including compensation, new hire orientation, recruiting, performance appraisal systems, employee relations, handbooks, job descriptions, compliance, training and policy development.
• Evaluates client needs and builds and manages client relationships to support business strategies.
• Maintains employee files and HRIS records in compliance with legal requirements.
• Supports hiring needs including posting jobs, screening and hiring candidates.
• Communicates company policies and enforces leadership’s adherence to them.
• Assists in Associate Relations investigations and communicates findings.
• Researches employment laws and HR policies, and communicates information to the client.
• Creates and supports employee engagement activities within budget.
• Supports Open Enrollment and payroll processing.
