Job summary

USC University Relations is seeking a Senior HR Partner to act as a trusted strategic advisor to leaders, building strong relationships and guiding people strategies aligned with organizational goals.

The role requires navigating complex employee relations, managing workforce planning, change management, and performance development, while partnering with USC HR Centers of Expertise. Hybrid work arrangement applies with onsite and remote days.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in human resources or HCM
• Experience consulting with senior leaders on talent strategies
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex priorities

Responsibilities

• Serve as trusted strategic advisor to USC University Relations leadership
• Guide workforce planning, change management, succession planning, and performance management
• Manage employee and labor relations matters and workplace investigations
• Coach leaders and partner with Centers of Expertise to deliver HR solutions
• Leverage data to support hiring, promotion, and compensation decisions
• Communicate complex HR policies clearly to leaders and staff
