Job summary

Comcast Spectacor, headquartered in Philadelphia, seeks an experienced HR Manager to act as a strategic HR Business Partner for event-driven and unionized workforces. The role aligns HR strategies with business goals, drives performance, and ensures professionalism in all employee interactions.

You will oversee recruitment, labor relations, compliance, benefits, compensation, and employee relations to maximize organizational effectiveness in fast-paced environments.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of progressive Human Resources experience in fast-paced environments.
• Demonstrated leadership and management experience.
• Experience working in a unionized environment with CBAs and labor relations.
• Experience supporting hourly, seasonal, or event-based employees.
• Strong interpersonal, conflict resolution, and employee relations skills.
• Experience with HRIS systems (Workday preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted HR Business Partner, guiding leaders on HR policy application and performance management.
• Build partnerships with union representatives; interpret CBAs, manage grievances, and support negotiations.
• Provide HR support for event-based employees, including workforce planning and on-site issue resolution.
• Administer and ensure compliance with federal, state, local laws, policies, and labor contracts.
• Oversee complex employee relations matters, investigations, and professional recommendations.
• Partner with Payroll to troubleshoot pay-related issues for event staff and union workers.
• Lead onboarding, offboarding, and engagement initiatives for part-time employees.
• Exercise independent judgment with confidentiality and discretion in sensitive matters.
• Maintain regular attendance; ability to work nights and weekends with a variable schedule.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
