Job summary

Playfly Sports is seeking a Senior Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join our team in Chicago or Philadelphia. This hybrid role reports to the Head of People and serves as a strategic partner across the PSP division, guiding employee relations, performance management, talent development, and organizational effectiveness.

The ideal candidate has 5–8 years of HRBP experience with a focus on learning and development and employee relations; experience in collegiate athletics or Title IX

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• SHRM credential strongly preferred (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR).
• 5–8 years’ HRBP experience with emphasis on learning and development and employee relations.
• Experience in sports industry or related environments is a plus.
• Experience with LMS and HRIS is beneficial.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leadership to address training and development gaps.
• Conduct weekly/monthly meetings with business units/locations.
• Provide HR guidance to management.
• Assess training needs and determine delivery methods (self-paced, HRBP-led, or external).
• Offer day-to-day performance management guidance to managers.
• Improve work relationships, morale, productivity and retention.
• Support succession planning and talent review processes across the company.
• Assist with HR policy development and employee communications.
