Job summary

ZIM Integrated Shipping Services seeks an HR Business Partner to lead and direct HR functions for the US team. You will interview and hire staff, assist with compensation, benefits, and leave administration, and drive employee development while partnering with business leaders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years Human Resources experience.
• Successful history of partnering with senior leadership on HR deliverables.
• Experience with collecting, synthesizing, and summarizing data.

Responsibilities

• Serve as strategic thought partner to senior leaders, shaping people and employee experience strategies.
• Translate business strategy into workforce, talent, and employee experience plans; identify risks and opportunities.
• Advise leaders on organizational design, leadership effectiveness, culture, and change readiness.
• Partner with HR and business leaders on enterprise initiatives to enhance culture, performance, engagement, and inclusion.
• Support annual planning processes including workforce planning, budgeting, merit, and talent reviews.
• Elevate leader capability and accountability for engagement, culture, and outcomes.
• Own the employee experience lifecycle from onboarding to retention with aligned values.
• Identify engagement risks via surveys and data; translate findings into action plans.
• Design and execute engagement initiatives and change communications.
