Job summary

Zipline is scaling rapidly and seeks a People Partner who will work with SG&A leaders to strengthen teams, coach managers, and drive organizational effectiveness. This isn’t a traditional HR role; you’ll influence people decisions and help Zipline navigate growth.

As a People Partner, you’ll guide talent decisions, support development, handle sensitive employee relations, and collaborate with Legal, People Operations and Recruiting to ensure a consistent employee experience and uphold Zipline’s

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in HR or People Partnering in a fast-paced environment.
• Solutions-oriented approach to solving organizational challenges.
• Strong judgment navigating complex people situations with professionalism and discretion.
• Ability to build trust quickly while providing candid guidance to managers at all levels.
• Experience using people data and business context to inform decisions and improve team effectiveness.
• Confidence coaching managers through performance management and development conversations.
• Curiosity, low ego, and a desire to continuously learn and adapt as the business evolves.
• Collaborative mindset and willingness to roll up sleeves to solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Guide talent decisions with leaders on hiring, performance, and promotions that strengthen teams.
• Coach managers on feedback, development, difficult conversations, and change management.
• Support learning and development by identifying capability gaps and connecting teams with opportunities.
• Handle sensitive employee relations in partnership with Legal and senior People Partners.
• Collaborate with People Operations and Recruiting to ensure a consistent employee experience across the lifecycle.
• Reinforce Zipline's culture and accountability by setting clear expectations and giving direct feedback.
