Job summary

Spinnaker Solutions is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to support operations in Indianapolis, IN and Columbus, OH. You will partner with site leadership to manage employee relations, talent initiatives, compliance, and workforce planning.

In this role you will guide managers through performance management, leadership development, and organizational change, while ensuring employment law compliance and alignment with company policies. This is a full-time, on-site role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Five or more years of HR experience.
• At least three years in an HR Business Partner or similar role.
• Experience supporting manufacturing, operations, sales, or corporate teams.
• Strong knowledge of employment law and HR compliance.
• Experience with employee relations, investigations, performance management, and talent development.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
• Working knowledge of HRIS platforms.

Responsibilities

• Advise operations leaders on employee and organizational matters.
• Manage employee relations issues, investigations, and conflict resolution.
• Support recruiting, retention, succession planning, and leadership development.
• Lead performance management and employee development initiatives.
• Guide managers through organizational changes.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies.
• Monitor turnover, engagement, and other workforce trends.
• Partner with compensation and benefits teams.
• Support HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
