Job summary

Harmon, Inc. is seeking an Human Resources Business Partner to provide strategic HR support to plant leadership and employees at our manufacturing facility.

You will partner with operations to understand the business, shape workforce plans, and drive engagement and organizational effectiveness. In this role you will counsel leaders on talent decisions, manage onboarding and offboarding, oversee compliance and HR processes, and champion continuous improvement through data-driven HR practices and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field.
• Five to eight years of HR experience, manufacturing preferred.
• Excellent coaching and relationship-building abilities.
• Strong communication and discretion.
• Ability to manage sensitive employee relations matters.

Responsibilities

• Workforce planning and talent acquisition aligned with budget and headcount needs.
• Lead onboarding and new hire experience for manufacturing facility.
• Manage relationships with temporary agencies and input on agency selection.
• Ensure compliant, well-documented hiring, onboarding, and offboarding processes.
• Strategic partnership with plant leadership to drive business performance.
• Provide guidance on talent decisions, performance and organizational change.
• Support Lean Sigma and 6S for continuous improvement.
• Leverage data to inform HR decisions and drive results.
• Lead change management and ensure adoption of new HR initiatives.
• Oversee HR operations, payroll, Workday processes, and compliance.
