Job summary

HITACHI ENERGY USA INC. seeks a Senior HR Business Partner to act as a strategic advisor to executives across multiple manufacturing sites. You will shape people strategies, lead organizational effectiveness, and drive workforce planning to enable business growth.

You will coach leaders, support engagement initiatives, and use data analytics to measure impact while ensuring compliant, inclusive workplace practices across locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Labor Relations, Business Administration, or related field.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• 12 to 15 years progressive HR experience.
• Experience supporting multi-site, multi-state manufacturing operations.
• Experience partnering with union leadership and handling grievances.

Responsibilities

• Partner with senior leaders to develop and execute HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Provide coaching on leadership effectiveness, employee engagement, and talent development.
• Lead performance management processes, including goal setting, feedback, and reviews.
• Utilize HR data and analytics to identify trends and support decision-making.
• Support organizational design, workforce planning, and restructuring initiatives.
• Champion HR programs and policies across multiple locations.
• Foster collaborative labor relations with union leadership.
