Job summary

Red Wing Shoe Company in Red Wing, MN seeks a Human Resources Business Partner to act as a trusted advisor to leadership and employees. You will translate business priorities into practical HR plans, enhance leadership effectiveness, and support organizational performance.

You will partner with HR teams to deliver integrated HR solutions, drive change initiatives, and help improve employee engagement across assigned areas, including the historic St. James Hotel.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of progressive HR experience in a business partner or generalist role.
• Experience partnering with leaders to address talent, workforce and business challenges.
• Hospitality/guest-service HR experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic advisor to leadership on people, organizational, and talent implications of decisions.
• Develop and execute people strategies to strengthen leadership capabilities and organizational priorities.
• Build strong relationships with leaders and employees as a trusted business partner.
• Address complex employee relations, engagement, performance, policy, and workplace matters with sound guidance.
• Consult on performance management, talent development, and workforce planning with business needs in mind.
• Support talent management processes including succession planning and retention initiatives.
