Job summary

Clutch is building the systems, judgment, and culture needed to sustain our growth. This is a strategic partner role, not a traditional HRBP seat, and it requires evolving playbooks in real time with AI-driven leverage.

You’ll partner with leadership to design frameworks that reinforce a high-performance culture, build judgment to navigate ambiguity, and shape internal communications to stay aligned through rapid growth.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as an HR Business Partner in fast-paced high-growth environments, preferably SaaS/Fintech.
• Experience coaching and advising managers through ambiguous, high-stakes situations, especially around leadership judgment during change.
• A track record designing and standing up HR programs or systems from the ground up.
• Strong business acumen: translating HR and business priorities to build credibility with senior stakeholders.
• Experience navigating sensitive employee situations with sound, independent judgment.
• Sharp communication skills across audiences, including internal communications strategy.
• Relationship-building skills with sound escalation judgment.
• Comfort operating in high-growth, high-ambiguity environments where systems are still being built.
• Fluency using AI to drive efficiency in leadership and company-wide work.

Responsibilities

• Build trusted relationships with managers and leaders to map decision-making and judgment gaps.
• Develop fluency in Clutch’s performance, accountability systems, culture norms, and internal rhythms.
• Identify where trust and context need building before tackling sensitive work and plan ramp accordingly.
• Stand up concrete improvements to define and reinforce a high-performance culture for managers to use.
• Shape and execute an internal communications strategy to keep the business aligned during change.
• Provide increasingly autonomous input on sensitive people situations with sound judgment.
