Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience resolving complex employee relations issues.
• In-depth knowledge of compensation, organizational diagnosis, employee and union relations, diversity, and employment laws.
• SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP credential or ability to obtain certification within one year.
• Ability to interpret laws, guidelines, and policies.
• Strong time management and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Conducts weekly meetings with respective business units.
• Consults with line management, providing HR guidance when appropriate.
• Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with HR to develop solutions, programs and policies.
• Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues and conducts investigations.
• Maintains knowledge of legal requirements and ensures regulatory compliance; partners with legal as needed.
• Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management.
• Works with management to improve work relationships, morale, productivity and retention.
• Develops contract terms for new hires, promotions and transfers.
• Provides input on workforce planning and restructures.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in employee relations.
