Job summary

1X is seeking an HR Business Partner to scale our People function as we grow from advanced product development to global production. You will partner with Finance, Legal, Marketing, and other G&A leaders to shape organizational design, coach managers, and build scalable people programs.

You will drive workforce planning, leadership development, and employee relations, helping the business maintain a high-performing culture in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including experience as an HR Business Partner or People Partner.
• Experience supporting corporate functions (Finance, Legal, Marketing, People, IT, or other G&A).
• Demonstrated success partnering with senior leaders on organizational design and talent strategy.
• Strong employee relations experience including investigations and conflict resolution.
• Working knowledge of California employment law and day-to-day HR partnership.

Responsibilities

• Build trusted partnerships with G&A and Marketing leaders to improve organizational effectiveness and leadership capability.
• Translate business priorities into workforce plans, design, succession planning, and talent strategies.
• Coach managers through performance management, promotions, compensation decisions, and organizational change.
• Lead employee relations matters and investigations with sound judgment while ensuring compliance with California law.
• Design and scale people programs and processes for multiple supported organizations.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Legal, and other HR partners to deliver scalable solutions.
