Job summary

Precision Drilling Co. LP is seeking a Senior HR Business Partner to align people strategies with operational goals for the West Texas division. This on-site role partners with leaders to drive engagement, organizational effectiveness, and workforce success.

The ideal candidate brings 10+ years of HR experience, expertise in labor laws, and strong communication and analytical skills to influence stakeholders and shape HR programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field.
• 10+ years progressive HR experience.
• Experience with SuccessFactors Employee Central, payroll processes, SharePoint, and MS Office.
• Strong communication, presentation, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Operations leadership to manage critical employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, promotions, transfers, staffing, performance management, leaves of absence, and terminations
• Serve as the primary advisor on employee relations, labor law compliance, investigations, disciplinary actions, and workplace issues, ensuring fair and consistent practices
• Support workforce planning and rig staffing activities by collaborating closely with Operations to meet business and crew requirements
• Drive HR programs and initiatives related to compensation, talent development, performance management, organizational effectiveness, and process improvement
• Build strong relationships across the organization, provide strategic coaching to leaders, participate in special HR projects and other duties as assigned
