Job summary

Carthage System is seeking an Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to align business objectives with employees and management. You will help implement HR policies, programs, and services while ensuring compliance and effective communication across teams.

The role involves coordinating recruitment, onboarding, performance evaluations, policy updates, and employee relations for the farm group. Strong Excel and HRIS experience are valued, with bilingual Spanish preferred for broader support.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in business or related field.
• 3-5 years HR experience or an equivalent combination.
• Bi-lingual Spanish preferred.
• Experience with HRIS database preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate recruitment and retention for a farm group.
• Interview, hire, onboard, terminate, promote and transfer staff; manage evaluations.
• Develop and maintain HR policies and employee handbook.
• Deliver HR trainings and policy communications.
• Provide day-to-day coaching and performance guidance to line management.
• Advise on employee relations issues and benefits processes.
• Support workers' compensation and safety programs.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Assist with unemployment filings and training needs analysis.
