Job summary

Carthage System - Professional Swine Management LLC seeks an experienced Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to align business objectives with employees and management at our Illinois operations. You will help develop and implement HR policies, programs and services, including recruitment, retention, compliance, benefits, safety, and employee communications.

You will advise farm management on employee relations, lead training needs, assist with compensation programs, and ensure employment

Qualifications

Prior principles and practices in the human resources arena required.
Experience with an HRIS database preferred.
Effective oral and written communication, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Assists in coordinating recruitment and retention for a farm group.
Interviews, hires, onboarding, terminations, promotions and transfers, and performance evaluations for assigned farm group; maintains evaluation system in HRIS.
Recommends and implements personnel policies; maintains handbook policies and procedures per regulations.
Delivers presentations on HR policies and practices as directed.
Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management.
