Job summary

Walgreens Distribution Center is seeking an HRBP to partner with DC leadership, drive workforce performance, and support engagement initiatives. You will handle employee relations, recruitment, compensation, and training while aligning HR programs with business goals.

As part of a distributed HR team, you will influence policies, analyze workforce data, and support talent development across the organization. This role requires collaboration with leadership and HR Centers of Excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years’ experience with employee relations, staffing & selection, compensation & benefits and/or training.
• Experience applying the knowledge of Federal, State, Labor and Employment laws, Workers’ compensation, FMLA, ADA and OSHA laws.
• Intermediate Excel, PowerPoint, and Word skills for reporting and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Builds strong relationships with leaders and provides partnership to implement HR strategies and programs.
• Provides coaching on policies and practices to managers and staff.
• Maintains compliance with employment laws and regulations at all levels.
• Supports recruitment for exempt and nonexempt roles and onboarding of new hires.
• Consults on absenteeism, turnover, and workforce data to anticipate talent gaps.
• Assists with benefits programs and employee inquiries related to medical, dental, vision, and retirement plans.
• Attends facility meetings and communicates changes and initiatives clearly.
• Maintains employee records including attendance, leaves, and new hires.
• Drives engagement initiatives and supports annual surveys and action planning.
• Will work independently in ambiguous situations and participate in HR projects.
