Job summary

DHL eCommerce in Port Reading, NJ is seeking an HR Business Partner to serve as a strategic partner to DC leadership, driving business results and employee engagement across staffing, benefits, training, ER, performance, and safety.

You will ensure compliant HR policies, manage payroll oversight, attendance, and leave processes, partner with temp agencies, supervise HR documentation, and provide senior-level guidance to leaders in a fast-paced distribution center.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR or related field preferred.
• 5 to 8 years of progressive HR related experience required to include staffing management, employee relations, performance management, time keeping, and/ or safety.
• 3 years' experience in a warehouse/production environment.

Responsibilities

• Act as a strategic workforce partner with Operations leadership to anticipate staffing needs and hire qualified talent.
• Lead end-to-end workforce lifecycle management for direct and temporary employees with regulatory compliance.
• Drive data accuracy and integrity across HR processes and systems.
• Provide strategic payroll oversight, with pay reconciliation and reporting.
• Monitor HR system reporting for compliance and data quality; support compensation initiatives.
• Oversee attendance management and corrective‑action documentation.
• Offer senior‑level HR guidance on policy interpretation and employment law compliance.
• Lead employee relations investigations and risk mitigation with Corporate HR.
• Oversee benefits and engagement programs, enrollments, changes, and terminations.
• Manage FMLA, ADA, STD, and general leave processes; support sensitive cases with compliance.
