Job summary

Guitar Center is seeking an HR Business Partner to serve as a strategic, hands-on partner within our Distribution Center. You will translate operational priorities into people strategies that drive performance, engagement, and organizational effectiveness while supporting leaders and associates on day-to-day HR matters.

In this role you will partner with DC leadership to shape staffing, succession planning, employee relations, performance coaching, and policy interpretation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3+ years of progressive Human Resources experience.
• Experience supporting a distribution center, warehouse, or high-volume operation.
• Strong employee relations experience including investigations.
• Ability to influence leaders and operate in a fast-paced environment.
• Working knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws.
• Experience using HRIS and timekeeping systems.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary HR partner to DC leadership, aligning people strategies with priorities.
• Provide guidance on employee relations, coaching, and performance management.
• Support payroll, leave administration, benefits, HRIS accuracy, and compliance reporting.
• Promote associate engagement and uphold company policies.
