Job summary

SPX Technologies, a global provider of HVAC and detection solutions, is seeking an HR Business Partner to support geographically dispersed field construction operations. You will serve as a trusted advisor to construction leadership and employees, guiding workforce strategies, employee relations, staffing, compliance, performance management, and engagement.

In this role you will handle recruitment, onboarding, workforce planning, and labor relations, including collective bargaining agreements,

Qualifications

• 3-5 years progressive HR experience including employee and labour relations.
• Experience supporting union and non-union populations and knowledge of CBAs.
• Knowledge of federal and state employment laws and HR compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and hands-on HR support for field construction operations.
• Assist with recruitment, onboarding, workforce planning, and employee development.
• Manage employee relations, investigations, and performance concerns.
• Support administration of collective bargaining agreements and labor relations.
• Partner with leadership to align HR strategies with project schedules.
