Job summary

SPX is seeking an HR Manager to partner with site leadership to implement HR processes and initiatives for an efficient, engaged and inclusive workforce at the Eden plant. This hands-on role covers recruiting, employee relations, performance management and continuous improvement to meet business objectives.

You will support local staffing, onboarding, training and pay planning, while ensuring regulatory compliance and data-driven decision making across HRIS platforms.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in site lead HR role.
• Experience in Manufacturing Operations.
• Management of at least 1 direct report.
• Experience coaching supervisors/managers on employee relations.
• Experience with high-volume staffing and temporary workforce.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the key employee relations contact and respond to day-to-day HR issues.
• Support leaders with coaching, policies, and performance management.
• Drive local staffing plans, recruiting, onboarding, and exits.
• Lead hourly recruiting and on-boarding in a high-volume environment.
• Coordinate attendance tracking and maintain records retention.
• Support annual pay planning and HR metrics reporting.
• Promote continuous improvement and safety culture.
• Engage in cross-functional projects.
