Job summary

SPX Technologies, a leader in HVAC and detection solutions, seeks an experienced Human Resource Manager for our NC site. You will partner with site leadership to drive HR processes, recruit and engage a diverse workforce, and ensure compliance while supporting a culture of continuous improvement.

The role emphasizes employee relations, performance management, and high-volume staffing in a manufacturing environment. Collaboration with leaders and a focus on development are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in site lead HR role in a manufacturing setting.
• Experience in manufacturing operations and supervising at least 1 direct report.
• Coaching and advising supervisors/managers on employee relations issues.
• Experience with high-volume staffing and temporary workforce.
• Knowledge of employment laws (FMLA, FLSA, OSHA, ADA).
• Experience with HR systems and data analysis to build business cases.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leadership to drive HR processes and initiatives.
• Lead recruiting, onboarding, performance management, and employee engagement.
• Manage employee relations, coaching, and conflict resolution.
• Oversee compliance with regulatory requirements including EEO, FMLA, OSHA, ADA.
• Coordinate training, career development, and recognition programs.
• Administer HRIS data, attendance tracking, and records retention.
• Support annual pay planning and benefits coordination.
• Drive continuous improvement and safety culture across the site.
