Job summary

ASARCO LLC is seeking a Human Resources leader to deliver HR services to management and employees at the Sahuarita site. The role focuses on talent and performance management, labor relations with the local union, investigations, and policy guidance.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of directly related human resources experience
• Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field highly preferred
• SPHR/PHR Certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Liaises with management on talent and performance management, leadership development, workforce planning, labor and employee relations, training objectives, compensation and benefits.
• Fosters relations with the local union and participates in committees as needed.
• Conducts inquiries and investigations and resolves issues with management guidance.
• Responds to claims from unions, EEOC, and DOL.
• Counsels supervisory management on the Labor Agreement to ensure policy and employment law compliance.
• Guides front-line managers on coaching, career development, policy interpretation, and HR procedures.
• Manages complex employee relations issues through investigations.
• Maintains knowledge of federal and state regulations to ensure compliance.
• Performs general HR duties including exit interviews, data gathering/reporting, HRIS updates, and recruitment support.
