Piedmont Community College seeks an HR professional to maintain knowledge of trends, regulations, and technologies in HR and employee relations. The role focuses on employee contact for relations after hiring and organizing engagement activities for the HR department.

You will perform HR reports, manage the employee database, oversee performance management, and provide HR compliance training. This position requires in-person daily attendance.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree and/or three years of comparable HR experience.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• PHR/SPHR/SHRM certification preferred.
• Experience with NEOGOV and Colleague preferred.

Aufgaben

• Coordinate onboarding for all employees, delivering a welcoming experience.
• Prepare annual federal/state reports (IPEDS, OCR, BLS Staff Information Report).
• Maintain employee data in Colleague and NEOGOV with accuracy and compliance.
• Provide personnel reports to internal stakeholders while protecting confidentiality.
• Manage ACA reporting via BenefitFocus for 1095-C generation.
• Develop efficient HR processes within the department.
• Coordinate 1095-Cs through NC SHP Benefit Focus System.
• Plan Convocation and new hire onboard cohort initiatives.
• Coordinate leadership programs and supervisor training; support PD training.
• Track probationary and annual evaluations for faculty and staff.
• Maintain HR records per NC Records Retention Schedule.
• Monitor state/college policies; assess impacts and compliance.
• Manage FMLA, PPL, unemployment, and workers’ comp cases.
• Assist with TSERS retirement questions and applications.
• Conduct employment verifications and exit interviews.
