Job summary

Ladders is seeking an Assistant Director/HR Partner to act as a strategic HR partner across education, government, and non-profit sectors. You will guide managers on employee relations, performance management, and policy interpretation while driving organizational effectiveness and inclusive practices.

This remote US-based role involves collaborating with leaders on compensation matters, job reviews, and change management to attract top talent and advance HR practices organization-wide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 7+ years of HR experience.
• Experience with employee relations issues.
• SHRM Certification preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of employment law and HR policies.
• Experience with HRIS applications and analytics.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert guidance on a full spectrum of HR issues
• Consult and coach managers on employee relations and performance management
• Interpret and advise on HR policies and contribute to their improvement
• Partner with managers to identify organizational issues and recommend enhancements
• Collaborate on compensation-related matters and job reviews
• Support change management efforts to foster an inclusive culture
• Ensure successful recruitment of top talent
