Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field required.
• Minimum of 5 years of human resources experience.
• SHRM-CP required (must obtain within a year).

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct the routine functions of the HR department, including hiring and interviewing staff, administering pay, benefits, and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices.
• Supervisory responsibilities: recruit, interview, hire, and train new staff; oversee daily workflow; provide performance evaluations; handle discipline and termination.
• Partner with leadership to execute HR strategy related to talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning.
• Provide support to HR Team Leader and staff on sensitive questions; manage accommodations, investigations, terminations.
• Oversee talent acquisition including recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified applicants; align with managers on required skills.
