The OCOK Human Resources Manager (HRM) administers human resource plans and procedures and serves as an advisor to management on HR-related matters. This position acts as an employee champion and change agent. Under the guidance of the OCOK Director of Human Resources (DHR), the HRM supports department goals and objectives in alignment with OCOK's annual human resources plan.
Requires extended periods of sitting at a computer, making and receiving phone calls, and monthly travel to office locations throughout OCOK's entire region. (Northeast 3E Region to include Collin, Grayson, Fannin, Hunt, Rockwall, Ellis, Kaufman and Navarro Counties. Southwest 3W Region to include Tarrant, Johnson, Erath, Somervell, Hood, Parker, Palo Pinto, Denton, Cooke, and Wise Counties).
Maintain confidentiality & follow policies related to: personnel records, client records, payroll records, and OCOK's financial records.

Education: High School Diploma required. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
Experience: Five years of experience supporting various Human Resources functions required. Two years of supervisory experience required. Working knowledge of applicable employment laws and regulations, including ACA, FMLA, ADA, Section 125, and workers' compensation.
Functional: Must be able to multitask effectively, demonstrate attention to detail, and work independently. Must also demonstrate excellent customer service skills and strong oral and written communication skills.
