Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in business or related field with 2 years HR Generalist experience including payroll, workers' compensation, benefits and some supervision.
• Alternatively, 1 year in Walmart Logistics HR or HR Office Manager with similar responsibilities or 3 years supervising HR processes.
• Experience handling staffing, payroll, workers' compensation, benefits, and employee relations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as strategic partner to the Site General Manager and leaders to implement people practices.
• Lead the People Team at the distribution center to ensure an exceptional associate experience.
• Develop, communicate, and implement People strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Support operations leadership in workforce planning, talent and succession discussions.
• Manage change communications and ensure policy updates are understood and applied.
• Adopt new people digital tools and drive data-informed people practices.
• Monitor employment laws and regulations and oversee related communications and changes.
• Analyze turnover, engagement, and compliance data to identify improvement opportunities.
• Foster belonging through regular associate listening sessions and engagement plans.
• Oversee OSHA logs, unemployment claims, and state forms completion; ensure accurate documentation.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition for sourcing, screening, requisition management, and offers.
• Support organizational changes from an associate perspective, in accordance with policies.
