Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in business or related field and 2 years’ HR Generalist experience or equivalent, plus supervisory/mentoring responsibilities.
• Experience supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing employees; knowledge of payroll, workers compensation, benefits, and hiring/promotion processes.

Responsibilities

• Act as strategic business partner to Site General Manager and leadership to implement effective people practices.
• Lead the People Team at the distribution center and ensure an exceptional associate experience.
• Develop, communicate and implement People strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Support workforce planning, talent and succession planning discussions, and leadership development.
• Oversee change management, policy communication, and compliance with regulations and Walmart Code of Conduct.
• Monitor OSHA logs, unemployment claims, state forms, and related documentation.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition on sourcing, screening, and offers; participate in compensation reviews.
